Customs Declaration Form
Customs & Excise has the duty to protect Grenada from the importation of drugs, firearms and other harmful goods and stop travelers from evading import duty. All persons entering the country are required by law to declare to Customs anything contained in their baggage, or carried with them, which has been obtained outside of Grenada.
All passengers are required to complete the Immigration/Customs Declaration Form. This form will be provided onboard by your airline, with additional copies available in the Arrivals Hall. It is advisable to complete your declaration in advance of arrival to help expedite Immigration and Customs clearance.
Passengers are also required to answer all questions from Customs Officers regarding their travel, baggage, contents, and any items being imported. Please ensure all information provided is accurate and cooperate fully with Customs Officers, as misinformation may result in delays or penalties.

200 Cigarettes or 50 Cigars or 250 Grams of Tobacco

1 Liter of Wine or 1 Liter of Spirits
Perfumed Spirits
10 Fluid Ounces
Other Goods
To the value of EC$1000.00
No Exemptions or Relief Apply to the Following:
- Persons: Anyone returning to Grenada after an absence of less than twenty-four (24) hours.
- Age Restrictions: Individuals under eighteen (18) years are not eligible for relief on spirits (except perfumed spirits), tobacco products, or wine.
- Commercial Goods: No relief is granted for items intended for commercial use.
Red and Green Channel System
To expedite the clearance of passengers arriving, Customs & Excise uses the Red & Green Channel System. Incoming passengers are advised to choose the appropriate channels for Customs clearance: Passengers with nothing to declare may pass through the Green Channel while passengers with goods to declare have to pass through the Red Channel.
GREEN Channel
You should choose the Green Channel (nothing to declare) if you:
• Do not have to pay taxes on goods you are bringing in
• Do not have to fulfill customs formalities
• Are not carrying goods that are forbidden in Grenada
• Are not carrying goods to which restrictions apply in Grenada
RED Channel
You should choose the Red Channel (goods to declare) if you:
- Have to pay taxes on goods you are bringing in
- Have to fulfill customs formalities
- Are not sure whether you have to declare something
Prohibited Items
These are items that are completely banned from being carried on an aircraft, either in carry-on or checked baggage. They cannot be transported under any circumstances because they pose significant safety or security risks.
• Explosives
• Flammable liquids
• Certain Hazardous chemicals.
• Narcotics
• Arms & Ammunition
Restricted Items
Certain items are permitted only under specific conditions or limitations. They may require special packaging, quantity restrictions, or prior approval from the airline or relevant authorities. Please review the guidelines below before traveling:
• Firearms – Licensed firearms must be declared. A local license can be obtained from the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) .
• Animals / Birds – An Import Permit must be obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture .
• Meat & Meat Products – An Import Permit is required from the Ministry of Agriculture .
• Fruits & Vegetables – An Import Permit must be secured from the Ministry of Agriculture .
• Seafood – An Import Permit must be obtained from the Fisheries Division .
